Baggage Policy
Personal item: The entire size must not be greater than 18 x 14 x 8 inches, including handles and wheels.
Carry-on bag: 22 x 18 x 10 inches maximum, handles and wheels included. We reserve the right to demand a carry-on bag to fly as a checked bag if it cannot be safely stored on a certain aircraft.
Checked bags: The weight restriction is 40 pounds, and the maximum dimensions are 62 linear inches. Any bag that is larger or heavier than these restrictions will be charged a fee for being overweight or excessive. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept bags that weigh more than 80 linear inches or 45 kg, or that are larger overall.

You should get to the airport at least two hours before takeoff for Spirit Airlines domestic flights and three hours before takeoff for Spirit international flights. If you don’t have your boarding pass 45 minutes before takeoff for a domestic flight or 60 minutes prior to takeoff for an international or flight to the U.S. Virgin Islands, your reservation can be canceled.
