Carry on allowance
The total weight and dimension limits for each passenger’s personal item and hand luggage on Aeromexico flights are 10 kg and 115 cm, respectively.
Checked baggage allowance
Depending on the route and travel class, the quantity of checked bags varies.
Coach Class:
- Domestic flights within Mexico: 1 item, 25 kg limit
- One item, no more than 23 kg, for the USA and Canada
- Europe: maximum 32 kg for one component
- Two pieces, each weighing no more than 23 kg, for Asia, South America, and Central America
- Brazil: two goods, each weighing no more than 32 kg
Premier Class:
- Mexico domestic flights: 2 pieces, a combined 30 kg limit
- Two parts, each weighing no more than 32 kg, for the USA, Canada, Central America, and Europe.
- Three pieces, each weighing about 32 kg, were intended for South America, Brazil, and Asia.

On short-haul flights, Aeromexico offers free cookies, light snacks, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to travelers. After 11:00 a.m., all long-haul travelers receive complimentary drinks and a unique handcrafted meal. It is required that special meals be reserved at least 24 hours before the flight time. Passengers can schedule mobile check-in, add trip extras, and upgrade their seat on the go with the upgraded app.
Online Check-in for Aeromexico
- Aeromexico provides online check-in, and customers can print their own boarding passes for a smooth journey.
- Online check-in is possible for domestic Aeromexico flights up to 48 hours and two hours prior to the planned departure time.
- Passengers with boarding passes should arrive at the boarding gate prior to the planned departure time with only carry-on luggage. Passengers with checked bags need to arrive at the boarding entrance at least 90 minutes beforehand.
- Without a boarding ticket, passengers should show up at the boarding gate earlier than the allotted 90 minutes with just their carry-on luggage. Passengers with bags should get to the boarding terminal at least two hours prior to departure.
- International Aeromexico flights: Online check-in is available up to 24 and 2 hours before the flight’s scheduled departure.
- With only carry-on luggage, passengers with boarding passes should get to the boarding gate before the 40-minute cutoff. No later than 90 minutes prior to departure, passengers with their luggage should appear at the boarding gate.
- Without a boarding pass, passengers must check in at least three hours prior to the flight’s scheduled departure time.
